Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Saint Victor’s Preschool! The children learned that Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland because he helped to convert the country to Christianity. Today, March 17th is his feast day.

To celebrate Saint Patrick’s day, the children had all kinds of fun with shamrock activities and crafts. Miss Alejandra and Miss Julie made green eggs for a fun cooking activity. Miss Jasmine made leprechaun hats and played musical chairs. Miss Morgan and Miss Yeran played :find the shamrock” mini games with the children inside the classroom.And lastly, Miss Stephanie made Saint Patrick puppets with all the children. We defintitely had lots of fun today!

On Ash Wednesday, Saint Victor’s Preschool had a special visitor! West Hollywood Sheriff Deputy Christopher Landavazo stopped by to speak with the children about safety, stranger awareness, trusting police officers when you are in trouble and of course — each child had the opportunity to sit in the patrol car! A BIG THANK YOU to Deputy Landavazo for caring about our preschool and taking the time to speak one on one with them!

This past Friday, January 30th the local fire fighters of Station 8 stopped by to speak with the children about fire safety and to give the children a chance to see their fire truck up close and personal. The children learned a valuable lesson about fire prevention and safety!! Everyone had a wonderful learning experience and a grand time! A BIG thank you to the Los Angeles County Fire fighters out of Station 8 in West Hollywood for coming to visit our preschool!!!

In the early evening of December 11th, the preschoolers and their families of Saint Victor’s Preschool came back to preschool for a special night and reason — to bake cookies and sweet treats for the parishioners of Saint Victor Catholic Church — for our preschool bake sale!

We had lots and lots of fun — a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the parents participated!! We couldn’t have done it without your active support, participation and caring! It was definitely a sweet night!

Saint Victor’s Preschool is proud to announce its 4th Annual Christmas Show, Silent Auction and Christmas Raffle! The children will be performing various Christmas songs and our very own special version of The Nativity. In addition to the Christmas show, there will be a silent auction and Christmas Raffle. The silent auction will include one of a kind artwork created by the children. The Christmas Raffle’s prizes include an iPad Mini 3, 2 VIP Dodger Tickets, Private Martial Arts Lessons, and much more! Support the preschool and  buy raffle tickets today! Tickets are $2.00 and available for purchase at the preschool office, Saint Victor Church Office, and through any current Saint Victor’s Preschool family! We hope to see you all at the Christmas Celebration!

Please join us on Sunday December 14th at 10:00am for our first preschool bake sale at Saint Victor Catholic Church! Staff, parents and children will be on hand both before and after the 10:30am mass selling an array of delicious baked goods and raffle tickets to our Christmas raffle. All proceeds go directly to the preschool — so please show your support before and after mass by buying sweet treats made by the preschoolers and their families! 

This year, Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated Thanksgiving and being thankful with a show! The children sang turkey songs and were dressed as turkeys — gobble.gobble. Afterwards, the parents, teachers and children celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast! The important message of giving thanks for family, friends, good health and loved ones was both recognized and celebrated! A BIG thank you to all the parents that prepared special Thanksgiving potluck entrees, side dishes and desserts!

On Friday October 31 – Saint Victor’s Preschool held it’s annual Show/Parade/Party! The children sang several spooky songs on stage, went on a trick or treat parade around the preschool and afterwards enjoyed a delicious  potluck lunch put together by our amazing parents! All in all, it was a spook-tacular Halloween!! A BIG thank you to all of our dedicated and caring parent volunteers that contributed and helped make our Halloween show/parade/potluck a success!! Halloween is almost upon us and that can only mean one thing — a trip to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch! The  preschool staff, children and parent volunteers of Saint Victor’s Preschool made their way to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin patch in West Hollywood. The children were able to jump and play inside a giant pumpkin bounce house, make their way through a hay maze, pet farm animals and pick out their own mini pumpkin to take home!

What a spooky adventure! A BIG thank you to all the parents that helped out today! We couldn’t have done it without you.
