It was a definitely a Spook-tacular Halloween at Saint Victor’s preschool! The children arrived as skeletons, witches, ghosts, super heroes, robots, cats and a few princesses. Likewise the teachers and parents were also dressed up and ready to celebrate Halloween!

The morning stared off with our Annual Halloween Show — the children sang “The 5 little pumpkins”, “Can you make a happy face?” and the “Five Creepy Spiders” song. The children had been practicing for weeks and it showed — they were simply amazing!

Following the Halloween show — the children followed a parade route around the preschool trick-or-treating and having a blast! A BIG thank you to the parent volunteers who handed out treats along the parade route!

Last but not least –we had a Halloween potluck party! There were cookie decorating stations and lots and lot of candy and icing! Needless to say — we had a so much fun!!!

A BIG THANK YOU  to everyone that brought something for the party , helped decorate, setup and clean up after the party!!! We couldn’t have done it without you!!

It’s that spooky time of year again with pumpkins, witches and ghosts! That can only mean a visit to he pumpkin patch is due! The preschoolers, teachers and parents of Saint Victor’s preschool made the trip to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin patch in Culver City!

There were plenty of pumpkins, an awesome hay maze, a petting zoo, a giant spider bounce house and pony rides!  The children were given a fantastic informational orientation about pumpkins and how they are grown! Afterwards the children explored the pumpkin patch and everyone got a baby pumpkin to take home!

For our 3rd week of summer camp (Sea Animals theme) we decide to head to the Aquarium of the Pacific to see the sea animals up close and personal!

The children saw jellyfish, seahorses, sharks, all kinds of fish, sea otters, penguins and so much more! They loved the touch pools with the sting rays and tiger sharks. Fun, fun , fun!

Everyone had a BLAST!! A BIG thank you to all that joined us:)

 

Transportation was the theme of our third week of summer school! The children learned all about different types of transportation — it was all about planes, trains, cars, boats and yes horses.

To celebrate transportation — Saint Victor’s Preschool held its first annual Summer Boxcar Parade! Each family designed and created their very own cardboard box car! The only requisite was it has to be a form of transportation!

The parade gave each family the opportunity to be creative have fun and spend quality time with each other. Each family came through and we had an amazing parade!!!!

A BIG THANK YOU  to the families that participated in the boxcar project and the parade. It was phenomenal!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

To celebrate and honor all of the hardworking, dedicated and loving Fathers of Saint Victor’s Preschool — we held our 3rd Annual Donuts w/dad event! This special morning is dedicated time for Father’s to spend time with their child/children!

Yummy donuts (for everyone), coffee (adults only) and a special space in the classroom were offered to our families! It’s challenging in this day and age to have quality family time — so this is the precious gift that Saint Victor’s preschool gave to all of our dads!

It was lovely seeing families together, sharing a donut and chatting with each other and other families!

SanTo celebrate all the wonderful mom’s of Saint Victor’s Preschool, we invited them in to have a cup of coffee and enjoy a muffin with their child/children in the classroom this morning! It’s our way of celebrating and honoring all the hardworking, dedicated and loving mom’s out there!!

I would like to wish you all a very Happy Mother’s Day from the bottom of our hearts!! Happy Mother’s Day from Saint Victor’s Preschool!

On a beautiful Spring May day,  the preschoolers, teachers and lovely parents of Saint Victor’s Preschool made their way to The California Science Center to see The Endeavour!

The children loved every minute of the field trip!! There was so much to see and do! After the Endeavour — the children explored the other fascinating and interactive exhibits in the Science Center! Afterwards,  we enjoyed a lovely picnic style lunch across from the Rose Garden!

We had so much and we will definitely be back in the summer! A BIG THANK YOU  to all of our parents that joined us and helped out with this field trip. It would not have  been possible without you!

Earlier in the holy week the children decorated Easter eggs and made Easter egg baskets for the celebration! On Holy Thursday Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated Easter with by having an Easter egg hunt followed by an Easter feast (in honor of the last supper).

The children went Easter Egg hunting in and around the preschool front yard. Both the children and parent volunteers had a blast! After our fun egg hunt the children sat down to eat sweet rolls and grape juice in celebration of the last supper!

The preschoolers of St. Victor’s Preschool celebrated Saint Patrick’s day  with a very green party and lots of green hats and decorations!

The children had plenty of green vegetables and fruits for the party , along with some yummy green sweet treats as well!
