Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated Father’s Day a little early this year with our Annual Donuts with Dad event on Thursday June 14th.  We set out delicious donuts and fresh coffee for our amazing dads to enjoy with their child/children in their classroom. The classroom was filled with laughter and love! From all of us here at Saint Victor’s Preschool — Happy , Happy Father’s Day!!!

Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated Mother’s Day early with our annual Muffins with Mom event! What better way to honor all our hard working, caring, loving and dedicated moms than with delicious muffins and coffee? And most importantly, quality time with their child/children. For our last field trip of the year, we headed to The La Brea Tar Pits/Page Museum! We learned all about the now extinct animals that used to live in the area. The children loved the fossils, the tar pits and playing out in the front of the museum on the green. As always, a BIG Thank you to all of the amazing parents that joined us on this field trip — we couldn’t have made it without you!!

 

On Saturday April 14th, Saint Victor’s Preschool made it to the West Hollywood Kid’s fair! We had a fantastic day at Plummer Park promoting the preschool and getting to know the community of West Hollywood! We had a kinetic sand sensory table and decorates crowns and kites with the children! As always a big Thank you to the parent volunteers who helped out at our booth this year! 🙂

We had a blast and are already planning for next year!

 

 

Easter is almost here — so that means it’s time for our Annual Easter Egg hunt!! This year we managed to hide about 400 eggs with help from all of our amazing parent volunteers! The children had a blast (as always) hunting for eggs! A BIG THANK YOU to all the parents that volunteered to help out!

 

In celebration of the Season of Lent – -the preschool performed our version of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. All Saint Victor’s preschoolers performed Easter songs for our parents and Saint Victor Parish Parishioners.

After the Easter songs were sung and our Resurrection play was over — the preschool families came together to sponsor the Lenten dinner that evening. I am overjoyed at the amount of participation from our preschool families! We served the traditional Lenten dinner consisting of salad, soup and rolls.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our preschool families who were so kind to donate their time and talent!! Our Easter show, Resurrection play and Lenten dinner was a success because of you!!!

For our March Field trip — Saint Victor’s preschool headed to the Los Angeles History Museum! There was so much to see and interact with  — but I think the children loved the dinosaur fossils the most!!!

Valentine’s day is the sweetest day — filled with love, friendship and sweets! Our Annual Valentine’s Day card exchange and party is always lots of fun!! A BIG thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who helped the children pass out their Valentine’s day cards.

 

February is the month of love and friendship! What better way to illustrate love and friendship to young children than a trip to the Build-A-Bear Workshop to “build” a friend to love! Build-A-Bear offers a wide variety of furry friends to choose from,  so no two Build-A-Bear friends were alike.

A big thank you to all the parents that were able to join us in this super special field trip! The children and adults had an amazing time and we will definitely be back next year!
