On a beautiful morning Monday morning the teachers, preschoolers and parents of Saint Victor’s Preschool made their way to Los Angeles County Fires Station 7 in West Hollywood.

The fire fighters were kind enough to give us a tour of the fire station, their equipment and gave us the “stop, drop and roll” demonstration. The children had lot of fun seeing everything up close and personal!

A BIG thank you to the amazing fire fighters of Station 7!!!! Also thank you to our parents for participating and being a part of this very interactive field trip.

On a bright, sunny February morning – the preschoolers, parents and teachers of Saint Victor’s Preschool made their way to the Build-A-Bear Workshop in the Westside Pavilion for our 3rd Annual Friendship field-trip! Our friendship field trip celebrates love and friendship just in time for Valentine’s Day! 

The children were able to make their very own special friend at the Build-A-Bear Workshop! Some children chose bears, others chose cats or dogs — creativity and love was in the air!

We are so fortunate to have parents that love being actively  involved with the preschool’s special events! A BIG thank you to all of the parents that joined us at Build-A-Bear!!

On Friday December 18th  — the jolly children of Saint Victor’s Preschool gathered on stage in front of their families to sing festive Christmas songs.

The younger children sang “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the red nosed reindeer”, while the older children sang “Jingle bell rock” and “Happy Birthday Jesus”! Afterwards, all the children came together to recreate the Nativity — complete with Mary, Joseph, The wisemen, the angels and the barn animals!

After the show , Santa stopped by to give out candy canes to all the good little boys and girls.

In the early hours of Sunday December 13th, the children, parents and teachers of Saint Victor’s Preschool gathered together for our 2nd annual Christmas bake sale! 

Among the sweet treats for sale were chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, gingerbread cookies, cake pops, pumpkin bread, home made fudge, cupcakes and chocolate dipped pretzels!

The Christmas spirit was definitely  in the air — the preschool sold out of all baked goods! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our wonderful and dedicated parent volunteers!! We could’t have done it without you!!

On Thursday December 10th the teachers, parents and children of Saint Victor’s preschool came together with one goal in mind…to bake as many sweets as possible!! 

Everyone worked together — mixing, baking and decorating all the sweet treats! We made peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, pumpkin bread, sugar cookies and so much more!

The night was full of laughter and sugar and spice and everything nice! A BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful parents that volunteered and made sweet treats for our bake sale!!!

On a beautiful December morning — the teachers, preschoolers and parents of Saint Victor’s preschool made their way to The Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank.

The children were able to see and pet three very special horses! A golden miniature Palomino horse, a Friesian and an Arabian. The field trip also included a tour of the equestrian center!

After the tour, the children, parents and teachers had a picnic style lunch  the green grass near the stables. Everyone had a wonderful time!!! A BIG thank you to all of the parent volunteers that helped during the field trip!

Please join us on Sunday December 13th before and after the 8:30am and 10:30am Mass! The teachers, preschoolers and their parents will be on hand selling a variety of  sweet treats — mostly home made.

All proceeds of the Bake Sale go directly to Saint Victor’s Preschool for toys, equipment, etc. We hope to see you all there! Come down and show your support for Saint Victor’s Preschool and buy a sweet treat or two!

On Wednesday November 25th, the staff and children of Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated Thanksgiving with a special feast! The children made special turkey headbands to wear during our meal and everyone talked about what he/she was thankful for!

Our special feast was made up of turkey, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, bread rolls, pasta and of course pumpkin pie!

We are all truly blessed and thankful!! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Saint Victor’s Preschool!!

On a beautiful fall day this past week, Saint Victor’s Preschool went for a nature walk — to pick up leaves for the classroom! Taking small walks around the neighborhood helps teach the children about safety, strangers and stopping to look both ways before crossing a street. The children also get to see the world outside the classroom! We waved to cars passing by, picked up lots of leaves and stopped to take pictures by the preschool’s sign on Holloway Drive. After our nature walk, the children played in the church’s front garden/sanctuary! Lots and lots of fun!!
