Happy Saint Patrick’s Day ! Today the children learned who Saint Patrick was and why he was so important. They learned that the Shamrock represents the holy trinity, that Saint Patrick was a priest and Bishop and that he was able to convert Kings to Catholicism and founded many Catholic Churches in Ireland. He is representative of all the good one person can do — that is the power of holiness.
