On Monday November 2nd the children and teachers of Saint Victor’s Preschool celebrated dia de los muertos or the day of the dead. It is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and acknowledged around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on the gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
Our dia de los muertos festivities included eating the traditional pan de muerto for snack with chocolate milk and decorating skull masks — each mask created was unique, special and made with love!
Happy Dia de los muertos from Saint Victor’s Preschool!
